Home visit

....with the social worker is Friday. Just talked to Rebecca and she is busy cleaning in preparation. Everyone says not to make a big deal cleaning your house, but does anyone not?
Our first social worker visit went well. Brandi is very nice and really seems good at her job. She is coming at 7 am on Friday so she can meet the boys before they leave for school. Speaking of the boys, Peter is home with a high fever. We had a good run of no illness for so long.
Last Saturday we had a class at CHS for those of us looking to adopt someone older than 1. Very good class. Some review, some new material. We also were able to reconnect with Jen and Erik (or Eric?) from our pre adoption classes. They too are between social worker visits and are also looking towards the Ethiopia program.
Rebecca has been reading blogs on the internet regarding slowdowns with court dates in Addis.
We also are again looking at bringing the boys with us to Ethiopia. Grandma Joyce, Rebecca's mom, has signed on to come with. We also extended the invite to my mother Karen.
I have suddenly gotten calmer in regards to the wait ahead. We are fully aware of the potential delays and the chance we wont go for quite a long time.
