change in geography?

While Brandy our social worker works to start our home study, we have learned two things. The Ethiopia program is very popular, and we are looking at about a year before we would receive a match. The second is that CHSFS has opened a pilot program in Ecuador.
Wow.

Suddenly, with us needing to commit to a country and program, we are doing a lot of soul searching and research. 21 days in country mandatory stay for both of us, and up to eight weeks total is the one stumbling block. Nine hour flight is a bonus. Seems much easier to haul boys (and girl?) around only one hemisphere.

Running a dental office and being gone for 2 months is also a concern, but we are already up to about 14 different options and plans.

We have a conference call with Brandy tomorrow morning to discuss some details.

Wow, this process is quite a ride.
