IT'S OFFICIAL!

We have our Consulate Appointment set for December 8th, and have booked our flights!
So happy to have that done, and now we can work to get everything set for the trip.
We leave November 27th. Fly to LA, then to Guangzhou, then to Hefei. On the 4th THE FIVE of us then fly back to Guangzhou for the second week of the journey. On December 11 we head home via LA. Instead of flying from LA to Minneapolis in the middle of the night with a long layover, we decided to check into a hotel right there, and leave early in the morning. Many, many blogs have recommended this. One family who has done this twice, said the jetlag was WAY better with some good hotel sleep.

Hotels to book, kennels to call, we are rearranging schedules at work!
So much to do, and thankfully very little time.
