We have our I800A in, waiting for our fingerprinting appointment.
Also getting background checks and another physical each. Bloodwork and urine this time.
I (Tom) also sent off my passport to get renewed. Just getting passport photos is an ordeal.

One china specialist told rebecca she thought we'd be waiting for a year before we get to bring our little girl home. Our math, based on the info she gave us, had us travelling in half that time. This is one of many examples of the frustrating life of an international adopter.

Rebecca is not going to sit idlly by. She is working on getting expidited status in china. They have told us it's a long shot but it beats doing nothing.
